Haircuts, blow-dry, hair colouring, lightening, treatments and extensions are on the menu at all three salons. A haircut is booked on its own or with styling. Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah price it by the stylist who takes it, Hair Stylist, Top Stylist or Art Director, while Downtown Dubai charges one rate. Hair up sits beside it, braids at Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah, a kids' haircut at Downtown Dubai and Dubai Marina.

Blow-dry comes in two grades, classic and styling, and both are priced short, medium or long. The lists give the names rather than the method, so it is worth asking the hairdresser which one fits what you have in mind.

Hair colouring is priced by length, across short, medium, long and extra long, with roots on their own line and a high lift roots line above it. Balayage, shatush, ombre and AirTouch are at all three salons, though the heading moves: Downtown Dubai files balayage with AirTouch, Palm Jumeirah gives AirTouch its own section, and Dubai Marina puts both inside Color beside contouring. Colour correction is on every list. If you are comparing prices, look for the technique and not the heading.

Hair treatments layer onto a booking. Tokio Inkarami, Absolute Happiness, K18 and the Brae ampoule are at all three salons, K18 priced across the same four length bands. L'ANZA, Genosys, the Kydra ampoule and a Nubea scalp treatment are at Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. Blome Shinsei is at Downtown Dubai and Dubai Marina, and a Balmain five week treatment at Palm Jumeirah alone.

Keratin, hair botox and nanoplastia sit under Hair Reconstruction, a section at Dubai Marina only. Downtown Dubai and Palm Jumeirah carry none of the three. Keratin is the one with a stated method: a keratin formula worked through the hair and sealed with a flat iron, washing out over three to five months rather than growing out behind a hard line. Extensions are at all three salons, strand by strand in capsules, with tape extensions at Dubai Marina only and the figure set at consultation.

Both are on every list, priced short, medium or long, with styling the dearer of the two. The lists carry the names and not the method, so ask the hairdresser which fits what you want.

No list carries a row called highlights. The highlights techniques on the menu are balayage, shatush, ombre, AirTouch and contouring, so book the one you want by name.

No, they are separate lines. Keratin has a stated formula type and a stated duration, three to five months. Hair botox has neither, and it contains no botulinum toxin.
