Lash Extensions
in Dubai

From a natural classic set to lush volume: each extension placed one by one, mapped to your own lashes. Comfort and weight matter more than sheer density.

What lash extensions are

Lash extensions are a treatment in which one (classic) or several fine (volume) extensions are bonded to each of your natural lashes. The technician works with tweezers under magnification, isolating each lash so the adhesive never sticks them together.

Before starting, a lash map is drawn: length, curl and thickness are chosen so the shape opens the eye without overloading your own lashes. The right weight is what keeps your natural lashes healthy.

That mapping step is why the appointment runs one and a half to two and a half hours, and why the same request can produce different lengths on two different eyes.

All three salons list the same four tiers, and the names describe how many extensions go onto each natural lash. Classic is one extension to one natural lash, which reads closest to a good coat of mascara. 2D and 3D apply a fan of two or three very fine lashes to each natural lash. Hollywood is the fullest set on the menu.

A lash lift is a different treatment, and on these menus it is called lamination. It works on the lashes you already have: nothing is added and no extensions are involved, which is the whole difference between the two. Searching a price list for a lash lift turns up nothing for that reason.

Lamination is offered at Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah only. Downtown Dubai does not list it — it carries brow lamination but no lash equivalent — so a lash lift means booking one of the other two salons.

How the appointment works

Four steps

01Consultation & lash mapWe agree the effect you want, assess your natural lashes and choose length, curl and volume to suit your eye shape.
02Prep & isolationLashes are cleansed of make-up and oils, the lower lashes are protected with pads, and each natural lash is isolated.
03Applying the extensionsEach extension or fan is bonded to its own natural lash, set slightly off the lid: precise, patient work.
04Curing & aftercareThe adhesive is cured, lashes are brushed through, and we explain the first 24–48 hours and ongoing care.

Who it's for

Extensions suit anyone who wants to wake up eye-ready and skip mascara, whether before a holiday, an event or simply for everyday ease. Choose classic for a natural look, volume for a fuller one. Both are safe when the weight is chosen correctly.

It's only fair to be honest: lashes need care and a refill every three to four weeks, as your own lashes naturally shed and renew and take their extensions with them. A refill tops the set back up rather than replacing it, and how long a set holds depends on your aftercare and your own lash growth cycle.

Damage happens when extensions are too long or too heavy for the lash carrying them, or when several natural lashes are glued together so they cannot shed independently. That is the argument for mapping to your own lashes instead of chasing maximum volume.

If your natural lashes are weak, start with a lighter volume rather than the fullest set. If you're prone to adhesive allergies, a patch test beforehand is wise.

For the first 24 to 48 hours keep lashes away from water, steam and high humidity while the adhesive fully cures. Hot showers, the steam room and the pool all count, which is worth planning around before booking a set in a Dubai summer. After that, brush them through, avoid oil-based eye products, and do not rub your eyes.

Signs it was done well: the lashes separate, each extension sitting on its own natural lash rather than bridging two. Nothing is uncomfortable during the appointment or sore afterwards, since extensions are set slightly off the lid rather than against it. And the eye looks open rather than heavy, which is what a lash map suited to your eye shape produces.

Questions & answers

Common questions

In classic, one extension is applied to one natural lash, for a natural, mascara-like result. In volume, a fan of several very fine lashes is applied to one natural lash, for a fuller, more dramatic eye. Both are safe when the weight is chosen correctly.
With the right weight and careful isolation, the answer is no. Damage happens when extensions are too long or heavy, or when several natural lashes are glued together. That's why we map to your own lashes and never chase maximum volume at the expense of their health.
Yes, under the name lash lamination. It is the same treatment, and it is on the menu at Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. Downtown Dubai does not offer it.
One and a half to two and a half hours, including the consultation and the lash map at the start.
For the first 24–48 hours keep lashes away from water, steam and high humidity while the adhesive fully cures. After that, brush them through, avoid oil-based eye products and don't rub your eyes. Mascara and oily removers aren't needed on extensions.
Usually every 3–4 weeks. Natural lashes shed and renew constantly, taking extensions with them, and a refill tops the set back up. How long a set lasts depends on your aftercare and your own lash growth cycle.
Keep lashes away from water, steam and high humidity while the adhesive cures — hot showers, the steam room and the pool all count. After that, brush them through, avoid oil-based products and do not rub your eyes.
The lashes separate: each extension sits on its own natural lash rather than bridging two, so each can still shed on its own cycle. Nothing stings or feels tight, since extensions are set slightly off the lid. And the eye looks open rather than heavy.
Removal is its own service on all three lists, so extensions can be taken off properly rather than picked at.
