What is a HydraFacial?
A HydraFacial is a device-led facial that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates through a single handpiece. HydraFacial is a trademarked device and protocol, not a generic name for any hydrating facial, so a treatment with a similar name on another machine is a different treatment.
The handpiece is the defining part. Its spiral tip delivers active solutions onto the skin while drawing debris out of the pores by vacuum, with no manual squeezing. Pressure on the skin stays low and constant as the tip moves across the face.
What happens during the appointment?
It opens with a consultation. Your specialist assesses skin type, pores, dehydration and sensitivity, and sets the peel strength and the serums from what they see. Then the treatment runs in stages:
- Cleanse and peel. Deep cleansing and a gentle acid exfoliation open the pores and lift dead cells.
- Extract and hydrate. The tip draws debris out of the pores by suction while infusing hydrating actives.
- Serum infusion. A final layer of serums with hyaluronic acid, peptides and antioxidants, finished with sun protection.
There is no recovery period. Make-up and the rest of your day are fine straight afterwards.
What does a HydraFacial cost in Dubai?

How long does a HydraFacial take?
Signature is booked for an hour and a half at all three salons. Deluxe is an hour and a half at Downtown and Palm Jumeirah and two hours at Dubai Marina. JLO is an hour and a half at Downtown and two hours at Dubai Marina, and Platinum at Palm Jumeirah is an hour and a half.
At Palm Jumeirah, Perk, Keravive, lymphatic therapy and LED light therapy are each booked for an hour, and Signature back clarifying for two hours. Downtown books Perk for an hour and Keravive for an hour and a half.
Which tier should you book?
Start at Signature unless your specialist suggests otherwise at the consultation. It is the entry tier at every salon and runs the full sequence of cleanse and peel, extraction and serum infusion.
Who should wait?
A HydraFacial suits almost every skin type, sensitive skin included, because the peel strength and the serums are chosen for you rather than fixed. It works on enlarged pores, dullness, dehydration and uneven tone.
Postpone it if you have active inflammation, an acne or rosacea flare, or broken skin anywhere in the treatment area. Active inflammatory acne needs a dermatologist first. If you are already under a dermatologist's care, agree the plan with them before booking: a HydraFacial complements medical treatment and does not replace it.
How can you tell it was done well?
The appointment should open with someone looking at your skin and choosing the peel strength and serums from what they see. A session that starts with the machine has skipped that step.
Extraction should be painless throughout. Pinching means too much pressure is being used.
Afterwards there should be no redness and no flaking, and sun protection should have gone on before you leave.
How often should you have one?
Every three to four weeks is the usual rhythm, in step with the skin's renewal cycle. Your specialist sets the exact frequency around your skin's condition and what you are treating.
