What is a classic face massage?
A classic face massage works over the skin and the muscles just beneath it with the hands, using strokes, kneading and light pressure across the forehead, cheeks, jaw and around the eyes.
All three salons carry it, and the price is the same wherever you book:
- Downtown Dubai lists a Classic Face Massage at AED 340, booked as a fifty-minute session.
- Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah each offer two lengths: thirty minutes at AED 290, and a fifty-minute massage booked in a sixty-minute slot at AED 340.
Face massage is priced separately from the facials on the menu, so a face massage and a facial are two bookings.
What is buccal massage?
Buccal massage takes its name from the cheek. It works the cheek muscles from inside the mouth as well as from outside, which is what separates it from a classic face massage.
At UNIQUE PERSONA, buccal massage is at Downtown Dubai only. It is listed as Face Massage (Buccal + Lifting), at AED 500, and the appointment is sixty minutes. The lifting part of the name is how the menu describes the combination; the menu does not break the session into separate steps.
What is myoplastic massage?
Myoplastic massage is aimed at the facial muscles rather than the skin.
Palm Jumeirah lists a Myoplastic Massage at AED 600, booked as fifty minutes. It is the most expensive face massage on the Palm Jumeirah menu, and the only one there that is not a classic.
Dubai Marina books a sixty-minute face massage at AED 600, the same price as the Palm Jumeirah myoplastic. When you book at Dubai Marina, ask which technique that appointment uses, because the booking does not name it.
How much does a face massage cost in Dubai?

Is there a device alternative to a hands-on face massage?
Yes. Endospheres face is a device massage rather than one by hand: rotating spheres do the work instead of the specialist's hands. Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah book it at AED 450, as a sixty-minute appointment. Downtown Dubai offers endospheres for the body only.
