What does body sculpting mean at a salon?
At a salon the term covers treatments that work on the skin and the soft tissue under it. Nothing on this page involves surgery or an injection.
Endospheres and Icoone are devices. Vacuum therapy works by suction, pressotherapy by air compression, and a wrap is a product left on the skin for a while. The branches do not all carry the same ones, and session lengths differ between them.
What is Endospheres body?
Endosphere is a device method built on compressive microvibration. A handpiece fitted with rotating silicone spheres applies rhythmic pressure and vibration at a set frequency, working the soft tissue, the vessels and the lymphatic pathways. That stimulates microcirculation and lymphatic drainage, helps soften puffiness and the look of orange-peel skin, and leaves the skin smoother and more toned.
On the body it covers the abdomen, thighs, buttocks and arms. A session starts with a consultation and an assessment of the areas, then the device work, then lymphatic drainage strokes, then aftercare advice.
It is course work. The manufacturer, Endospheres, puts a full body course at twelve or eighteen sessions, two or three times a week, depending on your physical condition. Maintenance follows, because the result builds up. A session is sixty minutes at Downtown and seventy-five minutes at Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah, and it is AED 580 at all three. What is Icoone?
Icoone is a branded body device. Its manufacturer describes the treatment as targeted, non-invasive microstimulation of the tissue.
Two branches carry it, at the same price. Dubai Marina lists it as Icoone Laser and books a ninety-minute appointment. Palm Jumeirah lists it as Icoone body and books sixty minutes. Both are AED 580. Downtown does not offer Icoone.
What is vacuum therapy?
Vacuum therapy moves a suction cup or handpiece across the skin, drawing the skin and the tissue beneath it up into the cup as it travels.
Downtown offers it as a one-hour appointment at AED 500.
What is pressotherapy?
Pressotherapy uses inflatable garments, most commonly boots over the legs, that fill with air and release in sequence, so the pressure moves along the limb in a rhythm.
It is AED 300 at all three salons. The appointment is forty-five minutes at Dubai Marina and an hour at Downtown and Palm Jumeirah.
What are body wraps?
A body wrap means a product is applied to the skin, and the body is then wrapped and left for a set time before it is removed. The wraps differ by the product used. Downtown and Palm Jumeirah share one, and Dubai Marina has two others.
